Bake Sale Fundraiser

A stalwart whose dependability has helped to cement itself as a fan-favourite/popular choice amongst fundraising activities, Bake sales are not just a great way to raise money but are also renowned for how easy they are to put together and run.

Despite their ease however you will still need to ensure that you do your due diligence on the organisational aspect as the effort put into this stage will ensure your bake sale goes as smoothly as possible, neglect this and it will implode! So find your bakers well ahead of time, and make sure you promote your bake sale as well as you possibly can, whether it means roping in friends and family or even some local businesses to increase your reach, do it as the results will be well worth it.

Inclusivity is important in a bake sale so having a wide assortment of treats available will work in your favour, as you’ll have something for everyone helping you generate more sales in the process, and by providing some alternative gluten, vegan & dairy free options you’ll really make sure no one is left out!

 

And it’s not necessarily just the cakes that have to sell, you could also package cups of tea and coffee in with your slices to raise some extra money!

 

If you also aren’t a pro baker and don’t feel up to the task, you could also buy your treats, don’t worry, we’re not judging, & we doubt your customers will too!

 

PRO TIP: giving your flour-filled creations (or purchases!) a creative name can really help to  so if you have the time to spare, why not give it a try? For example rebranding a regular Caramel Cake as  ‘Caramel Complexions’ is sure to be more galvanising to hungry eyes and if you’re lucky you can squeeze out an extra few pennies with this tip!
